Simulation Project
CLP collaborates with the School of Social Welfare to offer online simulations for MSW students in preparation for field placements. Faculty create client case studies with specific learning objectives and presenting challenges. Then, CLP trains actors to portray those clients for the Learners who engage with them in online (practice) sessions.

Preserving Resilience
Preserving Resilience: A Wellness Series for Burnout Prevention
This workshop, provided with collaborator GLEE Wellness, was offered to a cohort of middle school teachers. Aimed at providing tools for self-care to prevent burnout and enhance well-being. CLP focused on skills and strategies to help them listen and respond to their own needs by bringing themselves to the present moment and observing in real time.
The LeftEarlies
CLP Founding Director, Kim Stauffer, consulted with the cast and director of this very special play to create a trauma-informed space and experience for both actors and audience members.
"My work with Kim and the Center for Listening and Presence on The LeftEarlies was instrumental in creating a collaborative creative space where participants felt secure, supported, seen, and heard. As we developed a piece exploring an often polarizing and fraught topic, this became essential for the success of the production and the welfare of the creative team. Kim’s process had a profound impact on the experience of all involved." —Amy Da Luz
