Kim Stauffer
Foundering Director, Center for Listening and Presence
Kim Stauffer combines her expertise in social work and theatre to develop applied theatre techniques that facilitate the discovery and practice of listening and communication skills.
As a connector and community builder, Kim’s greatest joy is holding space for others and bringing people together.
Years of living in New York City and working as an actor taught her to hustle and appreciate the energy, creativity, and possibilities of the city.
Then, a life shift led her to slow down. She landed in a cottage on the side of a little mountain in upstate New York where she found the deep contentment of stepping into the flow of nature. She is committed to gardening and growing her own food as an act of resistance, loves lake swimming, tea with friends, is a cat parent to Jake, and considers herself a life-long learner in all things.
