‘Kim’s collaborative spirit joined by her knowledge, skills, and values has led to one of the most enjoyable and inspirational collaborations of my career.
Tell Kim what you hope your audience will learn or experience, and watch her thoughtfully mold a presentation or activity that exceeds your expectations every time!’

CLP Founding Director, Kim Stauffer, consulted with the cast and director of this very special play to create a trauma-informed space and experience for both actors and audience members.
"My work with Kim and the Center for Listening and Presence on The LeftEarlies was instrumental in creating a collaborative creative space where participants felt secure, supported, seen, and heard. As we developed a piece exploring an often polarizing and fraught topic, this became essential for the success of the production and the welfare of the creative team. Kim’s process had a profound impact on the experience of all involved."

Projects
1. Simulation Project
CLP collaborates with the School of Social Welfare to offer online simulations for MSW students in preparation for field placements. Faculty create client case studies with specific learning objectives and presenting challenges. Then, CLP trains actors to portray those clients for the Learners who engage with them in online (practice) sessions.
2. Experiential Listening Workshops with incoming MSW student cohorts
Sessions focus on skill-building around listening, conflict resolution, empathy development, and the ability to pivot when faced with the unexpected.
