Our Services and Curriculum

In a world of sound bites, social media, and excessive screen time, we are losing the art of listening with nuance and empathy.

Our worlds and communities are curated by algorithms that shape our exposure and limit contact with content and people who think differently.

Now more than ever, we need the connection, self-awareness, empathy, and transformation that listening brings.

CLP’s curriculum teaches participants to listen experientially and holistically with their emotional, spiritual, and intellectual selves.

The experiential listening exercises developed by CLP help participants to:

  • Hone skills and gain confidence in a safe learning environment with no risk of harm to clients

  • Identify and go beyond default communication patterns

  • Listen and respond more effectively in the moment

  • Increase ability to adapt and pivot in real time

  • Become more efficient at accessing and expressing empathy

"Less than 2% of the worldwide population has received formal education on listening effectively.

Research points to a “crisis in listening” as organizations spend 80% of their corporate communication resources on speaking. But good listening skills are essential. Whether you’re helping your team pick a great idea, or helping your client solve a problem — great listeners are seen as more trustworthy and empathetic."

Workshops, Courses, and Trainings

We design and facilitate experiences that are “laboratories and playgrounds” for listening, learning, community creation, and skill expansion. Offerings can include 3-hour workshops, 2-day intensives, and longer courses. They can be in-person or online.

CLP Collaborations

We believe in the power of community, not just in the workshops we offer, but in how we build them.

We know that no one organization can hold all the answers, and that’s why we’ve cultivated relationships with a network of exceptional collaborators. When clients present us with unique challenges or specific needs, we rely on these trusted professionals to help us co-create something meaningful. It’s all about designing experiences that are tailored, thoughtful, and grounded in what makes CLP special, while expanding what’s possible through partnership. These collaborations reflect our belief that listening isn’t passive—it’s a foundation for adaptive, responsive, human-centered work.
